Rev. Ed Khouri is a person who has been in recovery for 30 years, and is an international addictions recovery trainer, curriculum developer and program designer. Ed's experience with the Life Model began when he heard Jim Wilder teach at an international trauma conference and subsequently became one of became one of the first international recovery leaders to have his understanding of addiction and family recovery forever changed - and his life transformed and empowered - by the Life Model. Anne Sorensen Bierling (MA, MFT) has been involved in helping families thrive for almost 20 years. Her experiences as a former high school teacher and administrator, Marriage and Family Therapist, and wife & mom of three have given her many firsthand opportunities to learn about families. Anne's background in idealized models was formative in the development of the Life Model, and she was a key writer of Living From the Heart Jesus Gave You. Currently the Director of the LCPC Parent Education Program in La Canada, CA (which offers 15 parenting classes/week), Anne continues her passion of helping families thrive. Gary Bayer is an actor of stage, television, film and award wining documentary filmmaker. He is a founding board member of the New Harmony Project and he and his wife have created The Writer’s Gathering Jerusalem that encourages life-affirming stories. Gary has a passion for the children no one else seems to see starting, perhaps, with the wonderful daughter he adopted from Mother Theresa of Calcutta. In 2002 he was presented a Congressional Recognition award for his work producing the documentary The Children of Artsakh.
